Dog Attack

I ran across this yesterday. Basically 3 100 lb dogs attacked a jogger and was trying to tear her apart, actually lifting her off the ground when pulling against each other. One fellow ran out with a gun and dropped one dog as he came at the gunowner. Then his Walther jammed. The other two dogs apparenlty left, going after a preganant woman down the street when another gunowner with a more relaible gun got them stopped. The jogger, in her later 50's, will likely not work again. Morale of the story- keep an operational handgun near the front door. There is some video of the gunowners also.

I strap on my pistol first thing in the morning and don't take it off 'till I go to bed. A pistol by the front door is no good if the threat is at the back door.
