I happened across this video in a different forum.
The old coot is loud, obnoxious, and might possibly be violating some rules (I wasn't there, so I don't know exactly what was posted).
Having said that, how do you feel about the response of the security personnel.
How do you feel about the response of onlookers?

My .02 cents?
The coot seemed belligerent - but he was obviously trying to get attention from the crowd.
The rent-a-goons (Christ, what kind of donut-based diet are THEY on???) should've waiting for actual police to arrive - as there was no physical confrontation/fight - instead of power-tripping.
The crowd couldn't do anything because if you just touch someone *whammo* assault charge (and a fine tazering, I'd bet). It was nice to see some people saying something. It'd have been nice if the crowd would've starting singing The Star Spangled Banner.
In the end - my blood just boiled.

P.S. - I loved the one rent-a-shmuck's, "Move along, move along....." comment a-la:

When the "Security" detail put their hand on him they over-stepped - big time.
I am appalled that the crowd didn't do their civic-duty by performing a group "Citizens' Arrest" on the doughnut detail, plant their faces in the dirt and shackle them with their own hand-cuffs.
This is inexcusable, on so many levels . . .
Keep pushin', keep pushin' . . .
(This is going to get beyond ugly at some point and uncontrollable).
But then again, I could be mistaken and FOS.

I can't think of a better example of people turning away. Don't depend on any crowd for help. I don't think the reaction would have been much different if they'd a shot the old fart. Phuckin sheep.

This is the problem - the public is not organized enough *YET* to attend a public gathering without being harassed by a few bad apples.
Pass this video along to as many as you can; It set's an example which should not be ignored.
All it would have taken to make this right was 5 to 10 people willing to do the right thing . . .

WP - I just sent this video link-on to Glen Beck for consideration.
Thanks (I guess) for inflaming my senses.
Best!
Steve.

To be charged with inciting a riot there has to be a riot. Free speech was not served on the day of this video recording.
LaRouche is a looney but Obama incites crowds too. see Beck's rally.
A black guy doing the same thing would have gotten police protection,,, besides big fat white guys don't normally like to be seen sitting on little black people,,, at least not in public.

Solzhenitsyn's admonishments come to mind right now - we are there.
We ARE THERE!
Looks like the public needs to organize and damn quickly . . .

Can you imagine where the free speech debate had not been so wild a year ago a the town meetings??
If the tea partiers had not set the tone, we would be pepper sprayed and tasered en masse this year.
The bar has been raised by patriots, and the new definition of free speech is way out there now. Obama can go screw himself.

I keep thinking how3 this would have unfolded in my liberal college town insteadd of alaska. I imagine he would have had a few supporters, and everyone else would have been calling for his head and supporting the "Corporate Security".
Fortunately the state trooper showed up to fix things for the helpless citizens.

What was the outcome of the State Trooper showing up?
Anyone have a follow-up to this episode?

The kind of stuff portrayed on the video is why I laugh when someone tells me we live in a free country.

We are quickly passing the point where words and reason are able to prevail - The actions displayed within this video tell a thinking person what the future holds.
At some point our Constitution must be backed up by actions and a resolved verbal silence.
Cops are people who are bound by the same Constitution.
A few examples of the ramifications of their over-stepping the-line are forthcoming . . .
This crowd was clearly not on the side of the doughnut detail nor police but they were not organized as the founders required us to be.
It will come if we stay on this path - bet on it.

It's all good for the gov. until those bystanders that were watching decide that an injustice is being committed in front of their eyes that they are obligated to stop it using physical force.
I would've enjoyed seeing those two security fatsos receive their just and due beating for crushing an old man under their weight. Same goes for that king shit sheriff who showed up to maintain good ol "law and order".

I think the "public " are mostly drugged by TV and pharmacuticles, I've been watching the take over my whole life. I am ready to stand as an american and I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT WHO EVER FROM THE FERERAL GOV READS THIS !!! I desire a peaceful , free country,-- something / corp / cabal/ has wrest the rudder from the people's grasp and we MUST take it back or our country / children are lost.
I think armed revolt was what Barry was installed to produce -- then the UN gets to disarm amerika.
I am confused where to draw the line . I mean no one harm and yet how can we stop such abuse??? some one please show me a way, I will help.

I do believe they are attempting to instill fear and create revolt, though it may or may not be necessarily "armed" in the traditional sense. Who needs a gun when you have forty or fifty in a group of hundreds or thousands of rioters tossing flaming cocktails at whoever or whatever "authorities" piss them off? Imagine the political fallout when the leftist globalist house of cards tumbles politically in our nation. Probably as bad as it is currently or worse.
The way I see it is that bigwigs own both parties and lesser stakes in third parties, and if tea party should become a viable candidate it will be because the big wigs own tea party and deem it to be. Any truly unaffiliated candidate is a sure loser or a marked man. Just the way it works.
Way I see it, I am more or less a christian, and love for my country is based on it's original principles not on it's modern politics and legalese. A greater and more righteous kingdom is coming. I don't care to participate in this any of the political system other than opinions because I feel it's a dirty game, casting my vote for a piece of crap. Some might say that's the problem, but I say I'm biding my time and minding me and mine until I check out.
Only way I'm arming up is any direct threats of unlawful violence by authorities towards me or my family personally. I ain't joining no militia (I'm sure they are tainted with informants anyhow), and I ain't rallying for a cause other than freedom and cessation of all foreign wars.
