Can't stop playing with this old revolver. It keeps a difficult to clean layer of bullet lube residue on its cylinder,.....something that it hadn't experienced for several decades before I aquired it.

Old, oddball chambered firearms get brought out of retirement when I get a'holt of 'em.

So what's the odd ball calibre, 32 Colt New Police, 38 New Police, God forbid, 41 Long Colt? Spill the beans Man, tell all!!

This one's a .41 Colt. It's the first oddball caliber I loaded for. After that came the .310 Martini Cadet and the .32 Long Colt.

My buddy in AZ has one of those with the grip adapter except that it had been chopped to 2-1/2ish and nickeled. In 41 long Colt as well if my memory servers me right. They are fun guns.

I passed on a ROUGH example of one of those a few shows ago. Had some internal issues I was not willing to mess with for the price and condition. I love the gun though, I have a later Official Police (I think they are the same frame as the Army Special) 32-20 that is a lot of fun.
