I find it interesting that they talk about a "double dip".

I don't see how we don't follow Greece in this mess.Haven't heard a whole lot about Greece lately either-there is no easy way for them out of this mess either.

shortly after the bombing of pearl harbor this country was in real trouble. there was ample evidence for doom and gloom theories. much of the navy lay on the bottom, our military was insufficient, and our economy was battered by the depression. america got to work, found solutions and made them work.

we are faced with the challenges of a similar scope. ggiilliiee is right about attitude. if too many americans give up because they have made up their minds that things are hopeless than they are. there are some really excellent minds here that are poisoned predicting the worse instead of working on solutions.
