Interesting read.

Jefferson, embroiled in a war with Islamic terrorists in his day, commented, “Too long, for the honor of nations, have those Barbarians been suffered [permitted] to trample on the sacred faith of treaties, on the rights and laws of human nature!”

Leave it to the prayer-carpet, toter in chief, to remind us that it is Ramadan.
I guess no hot dogs for him during the day.
Locally, there is quite a debate on our local rags on line forum.
I have been carrying water against the mosque. The local libs embrace Islam in some sort of suicidal impulse---it is probably a left handed attack upon conservative Americans and christians.
Last week a local eye Dr, named Dr. Little was beheaded in Afghanistan, along with his medical team.
The libs have abandonned him as a republican who got what he deserved.

Most of what Jefferson said is too well thought out and concise for modern application. That said much of what Jefferson wrote he did not practice,, his words were more noble than the man in my opinion.
