Most generation XYZ, I view with a squinted eye. However, these kids give me some hope,. The idea that our parks are "politically neutral" pisses me off, I think I'd done more than civil disobedience had I been there. You can bet that future assemblies are going to violate some rule you don't know about in the future and off you go. Salute to these kids. One finger salute to Park Police from me.

In the interest of a orderly society all spontaneous patriotic demonstrations done without a permit in or near a national monument should be considered treasonous.
The banned conduct was at one time taught in our schools.

Stalinist at best

"The area they were standing in and singing is an area that is restricted for this type of activity," said Sgt. David Schlosser.

so the constitution does not apply as National Monuments?

Oh, now I'm sure sgt. schlosser "...Vas zust following ze orders!"

And, when the eventual reckoning comes, he should be given the full historical benefit of that defense. After all, it worked for the guards at the Nuremberg trials, right?

Our political elite has become anti American, treasonous and the enemy of the people.

A little house cleaning is in order. All Democrats in national office need to be shown the door, a good number of Republicans need to go with them, but most important- the corrupt entrenched, self serving anti American bureaucrats need to be sent packing. They implement policy and enforce it so they are where the rubber hits the road.

Thus singing the anthem of the country that Lincoln 'saved' Thats about as much respect as you can have

It'd be perhaps different if they were singing the Canadian anthem

Were you born dumb or do you just choose to be that way? Perhaps you didn't notice the commotion those "kids" were making prior to their staged singing....for the second time. However, maybe you did notice how many of those "kids" had their hands placed over their hearts. Or, perhaps not.

Further, the Park cop told them that they could sing all they want - just not at the spot they were assembled at. They opted to not move some 25 steps away.

You ever been to this memorial? Despite the throngs of people always gathered and all the traffic and hubbub on the streets below, the place is surprisngly quiet.

The guy who left the quoted comment was spot on. You ain't.
