Good news and bad news.
Bad news first- If passed, EVERYONE would have serve the bubmint at least two years while between ages 20 to 42. There are some exceptions but will be difficult to meet unless they really exist. (Sort of like a hardship discharge.)
Good News- Rangle sponsored it and has no cosponsors so it isn't likely to go anywhere unless that changes. He's pretty toxic these days so I think most congress critters are staying away from him. He may even get booted from congress for ehtics violations. And this would be a good thing.

Moderators- I have included a link rather than copying the document so all the copyright stuff should be there, right?

That law would go over well with the youngsters.
What part of involuntary servitude don't they comprehend?

I guess you mean the ones that voted for him? I have one word:
SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How's that hope and change working for you now? Even if it doesn't go anywhere, maybe the kiddies will see how dangerous it is to vote willy nilly. (And no, that isn't a sexual term.)

If I shave my head and put on a clean Speedo after I pump up I can pass for 42.

Just maybe, compulsary service (in the military) would temper our love of sending forth our Legions of young soldiers to slay dragons and plant our Stars and Stripes Battle Flag on all corners of the globe. Of course, such action is quite OK only with with volunteers and not with our own sons.

Thank god the "slavery to government" act has no co-sponsors.

Nice. Conscripts for Barakula's army that is just as well funded and just as large as the regular military.

That won't be much funding. Aside from Iraq and Afghanistan, they are cutting everywhere else, and are HALF@SSING the conflicts.

If you do that, most guys on the board will have to learn to use braile on their keybord, and the range reports will really suck if you ever get anymore. However, some guys will be really excited.
For both groups, please don't do that.

I don't see this going anywhere in an election year when we're not actively fighting World War III.

He also wants a national military police force that answers only to the pres, where do you all think he will get his volunteers? This could really stink. 38 years in the military, we don't need forced recruits. The current military gets all the people it needs.

Beck preditcted a national police force (other than FBI I think) although he conceded that it may not be seen like that outright. I think we are close now. DHS has given a lot of money to PDs for equipment and they have taken it. Now when DHS needs something, there is an implied suggestion that they "need" to do it. Will it get worse and more direct, I beleive so based on everything else going on. I think that trend will continue until Barry gets a no. And states are getting fed up now.
