Los Zetas Take Over American Ranches

Supposedly a group of Los Zetas from Mexico have crossed the border and forcefully occupied two ranches near Laredo, TX. There has been a lot of back and forth about whether this story is true or not. Some say sources within the PD have confirmed it, others say they have denied it. One recent article is here:

So my question is, does anyone live near that area that knows more info? Anybody been down to take a peek and see if there is any action? I know if I lived nearby I would want to see for myself WTF is going on in my own backyard.

If true the question of validity should be asked of Texas Governor Rick Perry who is serving the state from his Yellow Rose of Texas Garden at this time. Having been born in Webb County this type of encroachment by Mexican nationals is nothing new, at times they took down fences, fouled and trashed our stock tanks when they camped on my home place as they migrated to various agricultural areas.
Proactive enforcement is avoided by vote sensitive politicians, Laredo Police are not the law enforcement agency beyond the their city limits and the Sheriff a Hispanic is also vote sensitive, English is probably still the second language in Webb County,,,,, and Mexico City is about the same distance away as Washington DC.

I call BS. Thanks for the info. I agree it is most likely BS. It is sad that such a scenario under today's conditions is actually plausible and believable.

I have heard many other reports of the Mexican military and such crossing the border aiding smugglers and violating our sovereignty, with nary a word from the MSM. That's why I am skeptical to call this a hoax too quickly.

On a positive note, a few more days and Arizona's SB 1070 goes live. On a negative note, Kansas sucks on immigration and they might all move here.

I can't speak for the other agencies, but it would be extremely difficult for a Border Patrol team to roll on something like this, and I not hear about it. I have asked up and down the chain, and noboby knows a thing.

however -- HE must be at least as strong of mind, body and spirit as myself. I live alone cause I got tired of adding " another needy kid " to my household. I also wonder about the mindset that says if a woman is strong and firearms friendly "she might be a lesbian". I have had learned to take care of myself and my farm.
AS to Dean P.s reply--I know I've been in situations I would have loved some quality help, That is why I said "I could go to a party like that". Those folks on the border need help and if the feds are dedicated to allowing the human invasion from the south ,i t seems it might be up to "we the people" to help our fellow americans save their homes/ ranches and way of life. I believe Texas law makes treaspass and illegal entry crimes also with a right to self defense. If we were peacefully camping along the boarder, on private property and illegals violated your camp and threatened you, I believe it would be justified self- defense to take defensive action. What are you doing to help you neighbors Dean?

What do you suggest Dean P, I really would like to hear what you think should be done on this issue given you have taken a pro illegals position. I'm still will'n to saddle up and go to a peaceful gathering near the border if invited and WOULD defend myself /others if threatened by illegals or mexican army regulars , and especialy armed drug runners.
