Maybe I am missing something, but why are we letting a dozen Russian spies go back to Russia?
We are not really even charging them with anything serious.

Usually we want to exploit spy rings like Al Qaeda guys, and learn info that was not known before the arrests.

We are getting some unimportant guy in exchange from Russia, that will not even come here, but go to England.

Sounds like someone or some group is trying to avoid disclosures that might be quite embarrassing to them.
Are their anti Israeli ramifications? Nuke secrets? Attempts to affect foreign policy here? Middle Eastern Links?
Are some Obama administration personnel involved?

What is so critical that they must be gotten rid of, like a hot potato?

Whatever the motivation is, I smell a rat.

I forget the numbers but I think it's we give them 12 and they give us 4 and it's a "good deal". Same type of "good deal" we will get when the government uses our money to buy our health care or give us social security.

I call it the "BO bargain". Seems to be slightly better than his usual rate of exchange with the Russians where he gives them everything they want in exchange for another goose egg.

That's why we had to give up 12 "crummy" spies to get back 4 "pretty good:" ones. :rolleyes:

If you think this one was uneven in numbers, look how many the Izzys have to swap for ONE of theirs. If I was the Pali's, I'd try like hell to keep that ratio under wraps.
