This is indicative of the current mind-set in Washington - particularly of those on the left to include this Admin - they fear nothing right now - not even the mid-terms.

It is inflammatory and condescending to say the least - the video seems to be less available but I found it here -->

http://www.frugal-cafe.com/public_html/frugal-blog/frugal-cafe-blogzone/2010/06/30/snarky-stark-democrat-rep-pete-stark-mocks-minuteman-border-security-claim-covered-by-mainstream-media-video/

This mindset and attitude by our reps and that of our .gov cannot be tolerated.

If you are not incensed, you are not paying attention and are equally part of this nation's problem.

Get out of the way and stay at home - we don't need you for the heavy lifting.

Just keep your mouths shut.

I saw that a couple of days ago. What a tool! The sap has everything but a crown. That video is viral, btw, everyone now 'gets it'. He represents the very distillation of the Democommie Politburo mindset that pisses everyone off, and for good reason.

A priceless moment of candor from our betters. Not in the details of his responses, but the absolute disdain he holds for the people of this country. I can hold no other belief than that his attitude is not only shared by his fellow congressmen, but is in fact pervasive throughout Washington. I also know an overwhelmingly effective method to correct this. We'll see if the rest of the citizens also know this method shortly.

Had I the logistics to back me up, that MF would have been dangling by his microphone cable out front, in the trees.

Cut the comm's, circle the security detail do the deed and disappear - put it up on the web and watch PussyOTUS pull the the plug on the web . . .

But then again, I could be mistaken - so I'll just chill.

Wow, guessed what this was about without even clicking on the link.

I guess people out there must be more polite than they are here. I can't imagine someone speaking to his constituents in that manner and leaving without at least some tobacco juice running down his face.

That time is passing very quickly - like a few days.

Polite is what got us into this situation - ya know?

We tolerated the small BS until it tried to consume us - and then what?

I am not going to willingly "dive-head-1st" into the political abattoir they are offering - are YOU, America?

I mean, ARE YOU???

It's all a joke, left?

Rope.

Braided mic cables work well too . . . more expedient considering the circumstances - hard to be prepared for every hanging that needs application these days unless you keep a trunk-full of Constitution restoration gear on-hand at all times - might get stopped by the state employees, though - can't have their boss/paychecks slowed by the constitution, ya' know?

They have shot no-one and have made no such attempt.

The MM were trying to assist the under-staffed Boarder Patrol in their duties at their individual expense as volunteers because the .gov will not uphold the laws and do their jobs.

It is a goad by a left-wing politician to incite violence and make the right look stupid to the stupid.

This politician is a contrite Goober with the IQ of a frozen cucumber and deserves more than a casual expulsion from office, IMHO.

Asked and answered. Stark has been in office since the 70s so it's apparent he's too comfortble. As for getting the boot, that will be up to the non-complacent voters in his district. They need to tell him to pack his bags though. Let him find a real job, unless he's been really thrifty at this job and saved a bunch of money like Jefferson did.

I wonder if we are going to see town meetings in Aug like we did last year.

He also respects our military, as the following is his response to a fax sent by a National Guard member:

Dan, this is Congressman Pete Stark, and I just got your fax. And you don't know what you're talking about. So if you care about enlisted people, you wouldn't have voted for that thing either. But probably somebody put you up to this, and I'm not sure who it was, but I doubt if you could spell half the words in the letter, and somebody wrote it for you. So I don't pay much attention to it. But I'll call you back later and let you tell me more about why you think you're such a great goddamn hero and why you think that this generals [sic] and the Defense Department, who forced these poor enlisted guys to do what they did, shouldn't be held to account. That's the issue. So if you want to stick it to a bunch of enlisted guys, have your way. But if you want to get to the bottom of people who forced this awful program in Iraq, then you should understand more about it than you obviously do. Thanks.

Pete Stark is a local Congessman to me, and has been for decades. His seat is bought and paid for for life. His arrogance is due to the fact that he knows that he can never lose his job.
His attitude is a reflection of the liberal-Bay Area mindset in California. He reminds me of a certain lawyer from Denton Texas.

Veneral disease is so hard on the elderly. It makes them say and do things no normal person would.

A lot of dimmcraps played the field hard when younger.

edit- Oh yes, the elder ones who still play the field are even worse. They imagine such things as inventing the internet and such. Poor guys and gals.

There is no choice but to re-elect him. There are no electable, viable candidates in opposition for his congressional seat, and there has not been for decades.

Stark is a Democrat in a solidly, very liberal Democrat district and there is no way in hell that he will not be re-elected so long as he wants the seat and has a pulse. If for some reason he should not run for re-election, he will just be replaced by a younger, more aggresively liberal version of himself. The Republicans in Cali are toast and almost all of them are RINO's with similar attitudes as Stark and will vote the same way he does.

IMHO Starks attitude and demeanor is typical of any politician from California, esp. Democrat politicians. There is nothing special or excessive about Pete Stark, his arrogance and "I would piss down your leg, but your are not worth the urine" attitude is shared by most of the California legislature.

It is sad, but true. That is why California is turning into the Obamaville that it is.

I cannot share my thoughts here - use your imagination.

This behavior has got to end very soon - make it happen.

Our elected reps have no moral right to behave this way.

No more excuses.
