They HAD them. HAD being the key word.
The one thing I have learned about FAL parts is buy what you want because it wont be there later on.

I just wonder if DSA might feel that since almost everything a customer tries to buy from them now takes weeks, and months to actually get, it might be time to hire more employees and ramp up production? Whatever, it's not my company. Still, that's the way stuff USED to work.
I know this, they've left money on the table with me now, as I've gotten fed-up with waiting, and found some parts elsewhere, or had to wait so long that the money I had to pay for a long-ago ordered item dried up (which is not unreasonable when you consider it's the equivalent of buying a Big Mac from McDonald's, and having it served up 4 months later. Yeah, uh, I had to eat THAT DAY, not 4 months later dude! The money got spent elsewhere, sorry Charlie!).
Bottom Line: Ordering something as simple as a trigger set or spring set, and having to wait months is ridiculous, even for high quality. I remember when the wait might be a couple of weeks, and a rifle might take 6, but you waited that long for the quality. Now that we've gotten to months for the most basic of parts, and months and months for actual rifles, it's just gotten to the point where it's not worth the headache anymore. I keep hoping they turn it around. I like DSA generally speaking, but it's time to snake it up.

Damn ... should be good barrels if the "driller" knew his chit ... I'd be interested if anyone has built with one and how accurate it is ... Dunk RD built one but I can't remember who bought it ...
I didn't start this thread to bash DSA ... Go elsewhere humpback !!

I've got one on a factory DSA G1 build that I bought for my son due to serial # being same as his MP company while he was deployed to Iraq-I only sighted it in @ 25, but w/SA surplus it shot about a quarter sized or less group-but I've only got 8 rds thru the barrel-definitely has ALOT of potential though, and based on that I'd buy one for myself if they ever came available again. I bought a couple of those DSA G1 Barrels when they had them at 300. a pop. They are Hammer Forged, Chrome Lined. The blank was made by FN for the M240 MG's. I bought one to use as a spare for my DSA G1 then got another before they were gone. Wished they'd make some more.
The Barrel that came on my G1 shoots well so i have no complaints.
