Have a Mossberg 500 20 ga Persuader. Would like to get a stock w a pistol grip. So far, all that I can find is the ATI stock. Having a unhappy experience w their new stock for the SKS, wasn't sure that I want to go down that road again.
Anyone here own/seen their pistol grip/stock combo?
Thanks in advance!!!

Maybe I should reword this, I'm looking for feedback on the ATI buttstock/pistol grip unit that's supposed to fit on a 20Ga Mossberg 500.

No experience with the ATI product, but I have used the Choate product for the last 20 years, and have had no problems on my Remingtons...

If you already had a bad experience with ATI, why not trust that experience ?
If you want to try a Knoxx, Choate or Speedfeed, you may have to do a little experimentation to see if the stocks will fit the 20 ga receiver. Of those stocks, only the Knoxx is worth it in my opinion as pistol grip stocks generally make recoil worse, not better. Of course, the Knoxx sells for about the same price as a used Persuader, so I guess "worth it" depends on how much you like the Mossberg.
Additionally, a pistol grip stock of any kind makes the top tang safety of the Mossberg impossible to operate from a firing position.
Maybe I should reword this: If I had a Mossberg 500, I would spend my money on ammo OR, if I had to have a p-grip, I'd sell the Mossy at the next show and pickup an 12 ga 870 with factory extension and Knoxx stock from Buds for $550. The Knoxx will make it feel like a 20.

Chet, thanks for the heads up about the safety. Didn't think about that, that bugger is pretty stiff to operate with your thumb in the correct area as it is.

I have one of the ATI top folding stock sets on my Winchester 1200, it is great so far. Probably shot 30-40 rds with it on. They have 2 of the top folders, one is regular ploymer & the other is mil-spec heavy duty, mine is supposedly the mil- spec.
