I had my hopes up at the end of October when a poster advised DSA was shipping backordered HTS sets. Another month and a half has gone by... still nothing. What' the story??????

A call direct to DSA customer service brought a responce of " The THS sets are now in stock, we will charge your card and ship your backorder this week" Can not beat that!...

The HTS sets are definitely shipping. I just had three sets charged...IIRC dating back to early summer.

Still waiting on the bolt rebuild kits... The US made charging handles (complete) are also shipping. I just got one in the mail late last week.

Well, the promise to "ship this week" of Dec. 16, 2009 went down the tubes. I called DSA again today and they said "ooh, we'll get them right out!".. I'm not holding my breath!...

I called DSA yesterday and spoke to Nicole about my order of June 13. She looked up the order number and said, "well, it seems I can ship that out to you today sir!" Alright. Received a Customer Receipt/Purchase Confirmation‏ notification in today's email. I just wonder how long it would've been had I not called and stirred the coals a bit...:?

Make sure when you get them that you check to make sure the trigger pin and hammer pin fits. Mine did not and I had to gring the openings larger.
Also are they to be marked USA? 2 of the 3 parts were the other part was not Check your out

Well!.. My call of Dec. 28 mut have been the one!.. Parts came today... See the Marketplace WTS forum. Hammer, trigger and Sear were DSA / USA marked.

All three of my H/T/S parts are marked DSA, as well as USA. The stamping on the hammer and trigger are very faint and I had to look through a lighted magnifier to really see them. I'm just happy that I finally got them. I have a trip to see Randy Kline (Sledgehammer) coming up, and will finally get that para build going. Good luck to you other guys on getting your parts! I'm sure they will arrive soon... patience "grasshopper"! :)

Just had a meeting to increase production of parts for builders, we have had many increases in rifle orders from military contracts and of course post election sales. We are increasing capacity to cover the builders so the back order times will be less.

I just ordered a set last week... Saw them backordered the next day... Called them up and the girl said another 2-3 weeks. I guess I may have to cancel and get them another way??? I shoulda known better and checked here first before I even ordered them.

FWIW, I was told that the sets sold by Gunthings were not that well done. Just sayin'...ya might want to ask around, I might be wrong, but research might be justified. Good luck!

I'm gonna try Falcon.. They seem to be the only alternative that I could find right now anyway... Seen mixed reviews on all of them... DSA, Falcon, FSE... Makes me real tempted to find three other 922 parts...

4-6 MORE weeks?!?! Man, that is just incredible. Yeah, three other 922 parts might be a good idea. How can it be this hard to fill the orders? Seems like someone in dropping the ball to me. As I said before, good luck to all of you who are waiting. I know it sucks.

I ordered my HTS from Falcon last tuesday, recieved them on Friday. Dropped them right in, no problems. I then called and cancelled my order with DSA (see my war and peace post regarding the whole fiasco titled "poor customer service")

ALSO to all Filers free feel to PM me with concerns or questions and I will adress them ASAP.

There are some parts that we will never be able to make enough of because of rifle builds and miltary contracts, we have expanded this to past max capacity. We are a rifle manufracture first and foremost. Most if not all firearm companies put rifles first. This is way certain AR parts are hard to find at peak times because the companies hold them back for rifle builds. You would not believe how many companies called me on any given day after the election looking for charging handles or whatever.

We just hired another new CS rep to help avoid order mistakes and to expedit orders.

I ordered my HTS last September.

Two weeks ago I CANCELLED my order.

TODAY (4/16) I received an email stating that my card has been charged and that the order will ship.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME

Words fail to expressed how royally P****D OFF I am with the half-assed way things are being run at DSA.

First it was the two phone calls (each about 2-3 months apart) where I got snowballed with (and I kid you not), "We're finishing them up right now and they'll ship in a couple days." spiel.

Now THIS??!!??

Total BS!!!

I'm afraid it'd be too much trouble and expense to return the order for a refund, so I'll just sell the HTS some other time.

Glad I got all the FALs I'll ever need 'cause I don't want to go through this s**t again.
