I came across, and snatched up, a used Benelli m4 with the skeleton non-collapsable stocks last week that to me looks practically unfired; if it even was. I naturally would like to evillize it to a respectable state with real stock collapsabilty. Getting a proper stock/recoil spring tube is no problem. Is taking off and switching the tubes possible for a wesogeer or is this something that should be left to a professional, if at all possible? I came across someone saying Benelli has a proprietary method of permanently attaching the tube. Thanks for any info.
