Hello

I've been reading and searching without much luck as to the US part count on one of DSA's fine STG 58's I purchased about two years ago. I want to put a izzy wood stock on because the stock it came with is a bit too long for me. I did read an answer you gave that if the stock is not US made there were enough other parts that it didn't have to be US made. This begs the question then if the stock is US made then was it necessary to meet the US made part count? Is there a core number of US made parts on any STG you sell? Sorry to quiz you, I'm just trying to make sure I'm legal replacing the stock and handguards.
I do appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

DSA's STG58 utilize an Austrian buttstock. As such, you can replace it with either a US made or Imported Izzy stock.

The STG58 models generally used the following US parts:
1) Receiver
2) Pistol Grip
3) Trigger
4) Hammer
5) Sear
6) Gas Piston
7) Flash Hider

Upgrades to US made Synthetic handguards would be used to replace flash hider, in the parts count. Newer rifle versions now come with US made barrels.
