..with the 8,& 3/8ths" barrel. Got it cheap due to some bubba work on the sights. New sight blades are on the way so this one should be good to go soon.

S&W N Frames are a thing of BEAUTY ... I am partial to the shorter tubes but you will have no trouble sticking it to targets way past what most consider "handgun range". Good score....but those sights turned my stomach and made my eyes hurt... ;)

Nice piece, you will like the long barrel. I have had 4, 6 & 8 3/8 inch, all are shooters, but there is something about the long barrel. It tames the recoil well.

I'm no fan of the 8 3/8" barrels, but that is a VERY nice, potentially anyway, S & W.
I like the N frame .357s. I'm still kicking myself for passing on a 4" Model 28 last winter.

Nice catch!

That's an uncommon gun, the -4 version was only made in 1988 and 1989.

The 27s and 28s are both very nice revolvers. Nice score!

Thanks, I had just sold a nice 6" M28 to a friend. I wish I had kept it but he wanted it and I needed some cash. ;)

I still need to drill and pin the new front sight blade, so back to the shop I go. ;)

Nice gun, paralaxbill. I prefer the Smith's to all revolvers.
