Educate me on this, is there any difference? What are the twist rates on them? I shot a few 68 grainers through mine at 100 yards, and it grouped very well, well enough that I traded a Sig 229 and a Glock 19 for one a few years back.

It's a nice little backpack rifle!

According to Wikipedia, the K1 has a 1 in 12 twist. It should work fine for 55 grain but not so well with heavy bullets. The K2s had a 1 in 7.3 twist for stabilizing heavier bullets. I believe the Max is a K2.

The K1 is also a direct impingement gas system. More like an Ar-15.
Rather than the gas piston arrangement of the K2s.

The MAX1 is about a K1A1...

The MAX2 is about a K2...

Normally, 1/12 for the K1A1...

1/7.3 for the K2...
