Well, let's see, Dabtl would blame it on Bush. Most right thinkers whould blame tao, as for the rest who really knows.

I would say a partial blame can be laid on the idiots in charge in D.C. and on the "conspiracy".

Bump for the dead.

All of the vendor's are dead,...well,...not really. Most are too busy to fool with a website, save the ones selling the same old Taiwanese crap furniture or tactical bras and flashlights.

Times have changed. The flow of pallets full of SURPLUS goodies that flowed like wine have ceased to exist. Much we see now is secondary market or offering of items held in speculation.

BTW...In my humble opinion NOTHING says "<b>shoot me</b>" like a flashlight taped to your weapon's barrel! The websites are FULL of them.

Just sayin'......

After reading your sig line I was wondering what the mexicans would do if the gringos came flooding south of the border to find a better place to live.

You know, we start with the gangbanging and demanding they learn english and then damn it we start to take over........

Oh wait we did that already in 1848, then the government gave them back the land...idiots

Not to step on your forum Bob. We have no problems with you at all. I hope you feel the same about us.

Our website is what keeps us busy. We don't have any Taiwanese crap furniture or tactical bras.

Those bra's might sell! Where can we get them? Do they come in camo too? D cup plus sizes available? ;)

Hmmmmm...Idea. Tactical panties for the toughgirl in your life. Special padding to provide lift and separation of cheeks and protect the happy spot. Yeah, that's it........... :uhoh:

Yes, the pallets of parts is long gone.... Pallet diving will be a lost art. :(

We are far from dead and have plenty of MILSURP FAL parts. Some items are short all over like gas plugs, selectors, gas blocks and such. But we still have plenty to sell and are selling it. This time of year normally gets slow. But as long as we are at or above last year....we're doing fine. So far. That can change in a heartbeat and we recognize that.

I'm sad to hear so many are doing so badly. That sucks. :(

If they worked their sites right and got the stuff. It'll sell if priced right. A good website brings in business from all over. Not just locally. And brings another whole dimension to this business that has become a necessity in our way of thinking.

Bob has put together some of the best ads ever done here in the files marketplace. We emulated that as much as we could.

Always the best to ya Bob! ;)

BTW- I agree on the flashlights. Nothing better to say "shoot here".

Nice! With a set of D cups a girl could hide a 1911!

I guess I'll have to go to the best ass in the world thread for the tactical panties.......... Big job. But somebody has to do it......... ;)

Joking aside....Female CCW stuff is definitely on the upswing. All those female Obama voters that bought pistols lately and have no place to conceal them.

James,

How have you been my old friend. Man alive it's good to hear from you! I thought you were "vaporware" around here and for the life of me I can't remember why? Oh well, what the Hell!

Everyone get's a turn on "The Bull" sooner or later.

Anyhoo,...I remember sorting through the thousands of IMBEL FAL kits that Bob Custer at The Ammunitionstore.com (RIP) had bought from his old pal at PW Arms after BATFE was forced to return the infamous confiscated kits. Old "Ricketts" was there with us building walls and swinging doors in the warehouse when he wasn't sorting the parts for the kits. I had flown to Seattle a few months before to help with the "separation" of parts at BATFE's warehouse in Kent, and now here I was again working on the same kits that now were in Ohio. It was a good time.

At The Ammunitionstore (RIP) we had piles of parts everywhere as we graded everything carefully and assembled the best of the best into kits for the members of The FAL Files. As we worked on tables over to the right in the corner of the warehouse there was a "crate" that said "JAMES" on it in big black letters. If we had anything left over while sorting that would not make up a complete kit, ....it went in that tri-wall container. That crate was chock full of PRIMO spare stuff.

Darn-it my friend, it was the "old days"...and as Pink Floyd sings,..."NEVER AGAIN,...NEVER AGAIN!"

It's GOOD to hear your voice,..and GOOD LUCK with those TACTICAL D-cup BRAS!!

Hey Bob! Damn shame ammunitionstore.com went down.

We did make a lot of primo kits out of those parts. Plus we got a bunch of Imbel kits along with all the Rhodie kits from Robert. Ricketts and Robert did us good on those deals. Most of those parts did go out in refurbished kits.

Those were the days!

Never say Never, fellows-- this Administration might just make America so sick of the Left that we don't elect another one for thirty years, and if sanity breaks out, there are still loads of parts over there waiting to be brought in-- AK74s, Beryls, L85s (yah, I'd buy one, just because I don't have one  ), FAMASes, the list goes on . . .

Bob, you were in Seattle and you didn't give me a call?? I remember telling you the beer and crabs were on me . . . .
