I was struggling with my DSA Predator until I corrected the issue by removing the 2 scope mount screws just behind the ejection port. There is .015" - .025" clearance between the mount and receiver, I tried shimming first but it still shot lousy. I removed the 2 screws at the range in between groups and saw an immediate correction.
I have heard others with the same problem and wanted to pass this on. In certain cases I guess the stress on the receiver mount caused by clamping it down to close the gap really twists things up and throws flyers all over.
I shot a 1 MOA 5 shot group at 100M with the gas system off and the 2 screws removed but turing the gas on really messed things up - see my post in the General forum for details.
