Just picked up my .308 suppressor and am now looking for subsonic ammo for both .223 and .308. Any suggestions.
Thanks

And Blackhills makes some but not for civilian sales last I heard

Really the best choice is to reload your own - Trailboss makes it pretty easy

The next thing is before you put some thru the suppressor you make sure the subsonic loads are stable - shoot some at like 5-10 yards and again at 50 and then at 100 to make sure you get nice round holes - don't want to damage the baffles. :(

Lapua also loaded it. Ran it through a re-barreled L1A1 (fast twist for the heavy pills) fitted with a locally made copy of the Finnish (??) reflex supressor. National Park here were using this rig to dispose of unwanted critters in the National Park without disturbing the campers ...

Have you tried any of Engel Ballistic Research's subsonic ammo out of Smithville, Texas? I've not shot any in a few years but it was very good back then. At one time their product was lubricated exclusively with pork fat. I highly recommend it for certain areas of operations.Ron

I have tried Engel, Gunrunner, and Precision Weapons. Note, all of the dates on their websites are old. They all seem to either be belly up or just don't answer telephone or e-mail.
But I'm still lookin'

Whit used to respond to e-mail pretty regularly...

That is who I would recommend.
