Hello Everyone,

I just built a BM62 from a parts kit. The operating rod had the piston filed down from 0.525 in to 0.510 in. Needless to say, the rifle would not cycle.

Can the piston be removed and replaced it with another one? It appears the piston has been brazed.

I have an old op rod with a piston that can be salvaged.

Is there a gunsmith that can do this? Is this recommended?
