View Full Version : DSA factory guns - US buttstocks?

I picked up a like-new factory takeoff buttstock (from an SA58) with the belief that it was a US-made compliance part. However, there aren't any markings on it.. no DSA, no Made in US etc.

When comparing it to a known original STG-58 buttstock, there are clearly a number of small molding differences between the two parts.

So are these US made stocks, or aren't they?

Thanks,

We used Steyr butt stocks for many years, so it may be one of those. We had enough other US parts for compliance so those were allowable.

So to be crystal-clear on this.. did DSA ever produce any US-made buttstocks that were not marked as such?

For that matter - does anyone know of any un-marked US-made buttstocks?

The stock that I have, has a number of molding differences from an original STG (or Imbel) stock, but no US marks. Sorry for the persistent questions, but this is why I am asking.

It should be a Steyr if it is unmarked. Our US furniture is marked as such.
