Anybody going? Been a long time since I've gone.

I'm planning on going Saturday early - I need LP primers (fat chance, I guess) and a set of Lee mold-handles for a 6-cavity mold.

I'm going saturday. I need a u.s. g2 ak fcg. If I don't find one ill just go to mgs. But I need to meet randy to exchange a locking shoulder.

Plus I always like looking at stuff I can't afford right now.

The last gunshow in Denton featured $900 Hakims, $800 Garands in junk condition and $.85 per round .308.

There were many $500 ARs selling for $1000, however.

I bought the large Texas spicy dog and enjoyed it.

I will not be attending Market Hall.

Bill, by Sat afternoon that Hakim was up to $1k. Didn't even buy a dog. Seriously contemplated buying a Glenfield 30-30 with matching scope or a Rem81 in .35Rem, but ended up passing on both. I may go to MH, may not. Don't really feel like driving into Dallas.

Well then, sounds like I'll be going to Germanfest in Muenster then.

Last weekend, I drove 4 miles and paid $8 to be disgusted and insulted by the prices I saw. Why drive any farther to be revolted further?

I got in for free through the back door. *it's a secret* lol

I got there real late though because I woke up late and had to run by military gun supply. . Wasn't a line anymore anyways. With the crazyness going early is well, suicide.

Got my locking shoulder from randy and put it in, in the back of james' truck. Went down to the river and it was %100 with the radway green I had with me. Put a few rounds through the mauser too. I've gone to the dark side it's a metric :)

Few chinese sks (what the fug is the plural of sks???) for $650ish. There was one that said it took ak mags for 700 something I believe. Saw a polytech legend don't recall the price. And we saw a no1 mk5 enfield I believe?

Plenty of pump shotguns under $350 as usual. Saw a mossberg 590 for $450 I believe.

There was a sar-4800 with ironwood furniture , an inch pattern built on a new century receiver with shallow type I like cuts???? think they wanted $900. And a couple others I don't recall prices on.

Century yugo ak's $800.

Saw an ar for 895. It was a centurion though. Didn't scout too much as I had no cash in my pocket.

We saw $50 .380 also. Some guys were selling 9mm for $9 for 25rds.

AWP101 and I went today. Lots of over priced Century FALs, shotgun primers for $65.00 a box of 1000, lots of overpriced Port .308, $1000.00 for SA .308 (I think), $600.00 for .223, $400.00 for 2040 rounds of 5.45X39. I was surprised that not many ARs were walking out of the door. So I bought some summer sausage and some cheese and some beef sitcks, a Black and decker "dremel tool" and Tactical Solutions AR Forged lower. ( That is my "panic buy".)

Found 4 pounds of Unique for $95.00. I just bought 8 pounds on the 'Net for the same price.

I really didn't see anything that I just could not live with out. I bought the AR lower on a whim. Jen had 3 DSA type 1 FAL receiver for $500.00 each.
