got a deal on a wingmaster

Picked up a 12ga 870 wingmaster today for $275. It is in great shape. Definitely feels nicer than my express. Wish it was the 20" non ribbed barrel but not gonna complain about the deal. Here are a couple crappy pics

20" plain is an easy find. Just look around and you`ll find one for it and have 2 bbls, or sell off the ribbed one.

I was going to say that the price seemed a little on the high side, but upon looking at the condition of the wood and the metal finish, I think that is a good price. I look for ones in the 200-225 range and generally don't mind scuffs and scratches because I plan to make them into home/self defense 870s that would eventually be refinished and have the wood stocks replaced with synthetic or plain walnut.

Man, can you say "Safe Queen"....If it has been shot it was only shot a few times. Great find! Does the bolt face have a primer imprint?

Yea, safe queen it may be. I need to keep looking for a beat up wingmaster to refinish and make a tac gun like my express. The express has the factory top folder which seems hard to get. All the ones I see are crappy plastic.

splogan, I've seen some of the Remington made folders on E-Bay quite recently.
You might want to keep an eye out over there also.

I already have the one 870 with the factory folder. Next play 870 will have to be different. Maybe a knoxx or something similar.
