well clearly DSA supplies all the drug cartels with US made weapons. They may need a manual after all.
ATF says 90% of drug cartels guns come from DSA :D

Well, I for one think this is a good thing. If it was between a gun owner who couldn't fully comprehend their English manual due to difficulties with the language vs one who fully comprehends their Spanish version, and they were shooting next to me at the range, guess which I'd choose.

A lot of DSA's military customers are in Latin America, so this is a result of their need for manuals. It is good to know that the FAL soldiers on in some very important missions against drug traffickers and narco-terrorists.

IMHO "IF" he is a Law Abiding Imigrant and or a US Citizen he will (or should) know how to read/speak English anyway.. Besides I kinda doubt most Gun Toting NON english speaking Illegal Immigrants read the instructions when they STEEL a Gun anyway..
John~
So as no to crap on your thread I did not know DSA "EXPORTED" FAL's and also did not know there are very many counties that allow it's citizens the priviledge of ownership anyway?
Now IF it's for the Military of said country then I think it's prolly good..
However "IF" NEW DSA rifles are being shipped with instructions in BOTH English and Spanish I think that blows..

These were developed for the military/LEO export rifles going to various friendly governments south of the border. Some of those guys love the FAL as much as we do!

You may be right, but I never presume anything. Just because they aren't fluent in English doesn't mean they're illegal. I've known naturalized citizens who've lived in the US for 30+ years who have trouble reading English in anything more difficult than the average magazine or newspaper. Hell, I know some folks whose families have lived here hundreds of years who can't read English. Of course, reading the FAL manual can't be rocket science, right?

Just logged on to DSA and instead of pressing 1 for English I had to press 2 for English and 1 for Spanish--go figure!
