I have several gas regulators that are supposed to be Canadian. How do I tell for sure? I've spent the last hour searching the Files, and can't find it. I know I've seen these ID'd before.
Thanks.

They go up to #12 - Find photos on SLR5000 . up on the Marketplace.
If in fact they are Canadian and you have a nice one you would be willing to part with I am interested.
Thanks D.

Not all Canadian go to 12. They also go to 11. Their tech maintenance manuals even remark about this. Variations...
My NOS C1A1 barrel has one that goes to 11. It is all Canadain. But my C2 has one that goes to 12.
So how to tell... is if goes to 12, then reasonably Canadian.
If it goes to 11...
I have noticed the canadian parts are really well made, very smooth surface finish, crisply marked, etc. Small detail stuff. But that is not a final way to determine things...
And why do I keep thinking of Spinal Tap.

I don't believe any of mine go to 12. I'll check. I'm pretty sure they are Canadian though. And yes, I agree that the Canadian made parts appear to be of very high quality, amongst the best. I've been going through my parts boxes of Commonwealth parts and it's quite a contrast looking at Canadian parts, and then picking up a bag of Indian parts... I love the way the Canadian parts are all very nicely finished, beautiful fine and soft Parkerizing, and then the Indian's are machined with dull tooling, filed, the engraving done freehand, then wire brushed before dumping in weak phosphate.
Thanks everyone for the prompt and helpful response.
