Poyer L1A1 photos?

I did a search for Poyer L1A1 photos and didn't come up with any. Anyone have some good photos of a Poyer L1A1 or its wood?

I did a search for "Poyer" and found this. I know there are some pics of Poyers in there as, I've seen plenty here. It shouldn't take much digging.

Had the chance in the very early 1990's to purchase a Poyer L1A1 and L2A1, NIB, from the same collector, for $3,000.00 and $4,000.00, respectively. :eek:
Thought it was too much at the time--- if I only knew. :mad:

I only went back a year, so screwed up. I bought some wood about 12 years ago and I marked it Poyer wood. I bought it from a guy who had a rifle but hated the color so he sold me the wood and put walnut on the rifle. I never saw the rifle but the wood is real light and I wanted to confirm want is in the pile.
Now for the right rifle.

But it WAS at the time. can't say for the L2, but a Poyer L1A1 in the early 90s went for under $2k. I don't think it was till ten years ago they went over $3k. I spoke with a collector who sold two in the very early 90s for $800 each.

Screw Poyers. About '93 I almost purchased a '72 Trans Am 455HO for $12k. That same vehicle recently sold for over $80k.
