Charging Handle Install?

To get the CH into my new build you drive the pin out of the part that sticks into the receiver and re-install after you slide the rail in, correct?!

Is there a trick to getting that pin out of a Lithgow CH? Mine seems to be very stubborn!

Drive pin out from the bottom up, as they are tapered (or are supposed to be). Ron
