I just rejected an order of AM953 (notice not AM953A) The uncracked stuff. It was cracked all to crap. I am thinking any 54 dates polish X25 is going to be cracked. For uncracked, it needs to be 52 or earlier as a different bullet crimping method was used.
The AM1248 has something going on with it. The 50's has been removed from the website and replaced with 80's in different round counts and higher pricing, although the part number remains the same.
They also have bulgy in 800rd tins, AM725

That Bulgy sure has gone up (but then what hasn't) I think I paid $62 a tin last year. Should have bought more than the 4800 I did.

Valkyrie0002 and instr8,
Thanks for your help. I have been looking at 7.62x25 ammo available on GunBroker, and the Century deal is better than anything I saw there. Expecially their deal on shipping.
I ordered some Bulgy from Century based on jerrymrc's testing of it.
Best Regards to all,

Century recently raised all their ammo prices about 30% for non-ffl's. The ffl price is only a few dollars more than what you paid.

I bought two cans of the "cracked" from Century just before they raised the prices for non-FFLs. I opened on can, 1 box and found no cracks. Not exactly a large sample, but...
If you can't get Century's FFL prices (FFL or C&R), Sportsman's Guide has the 1224-round cans of Romanian for $135 for non-members and 800-round tins of Bulgarian for $77. Always use a coupon with them and their shipping is price-based rather than weight based (great for those of us on the West Coast).

Check out Dan's. He still has it listed for 129.00per for 1,224 rounds. http://www.dansammo.com/ammo.asp
I've dealt with him several times and always received top notch service.

I still look back and wonder. The romy was 30 years newer and after seeing the target shot it again with the same results.
I guess they took the cold war serious in the 50's. :uhoh:  :whiskey:
The one constant in a blowback with X25 is that it is all dirty and it is all corrosive when it comes to surplus.
I would like to see how the soviet block kept the PPS 41-43's firing after 200 rounds or so. My blowback Fal is almost black everywhere after 100 rounds. I have learned that eezox is your friend.
