I was wondering if anyone makes or has any idea for a thinner butt pad for the standard DSA butt stocks. I hunt with my rifle and when wearing heavy hunting cloths, the L.O.P. is a little on the long side. I don't have a bandsaw to cut one down, and I am not sure I would want something that looks like a homemade thin pad on my beloved pride and joy.

Thinning it down the 1/2 inch or so to the top of the attatchment screw would help.

DSA, how about offering a thin butt pad for those of us needing a little shorter L.O.P.

I will sure pass that suggestion along.

Thanks!

The STG58 length of pull has always been a little long IMHO...

O.K., I have waited a long time. Any movement on a thinner butt pad for the SA58 stock. Deer season is here again along with the heavy cloths. Factory short butt pad comming out, or do I need to make my own? Anything to get LOP down to 14 inces or less.

I agree. The FAL has a pretty long LOP for an EBR (especially with todays shooting styles) and a thinner butt-pad for the STG58 stock would be the easiest fix.

I find exercising more and watching what I eat helps me get a thinner butt pad.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Another option is to find an Israeli light bbl wood butt stock. They are a tad shorter than Belgian/Austrian. I can't recall how much though. They seem to fit me perfectly.

I have always loved the wood look. If you know where I can find one cheap,PM me.

Did DSA deside to make a slimmer butt pad?

DSA can't even get to their back orders....and you guys want
a thinner buttpad?

BTW, I'd be first in line to buy one...provided it wouldn't
take 6 months to get it...
