Benelli M2 mag spring question

I got a factory extended mag tube for my Benelli M2 Tactical. Problem is, the mag spring is so strong it's not seating in the tube. Any shortcuts/easier way to do it?

SSarge, I wish I could help, but can't find any info on this issue. I hope you get your solution soon.

I finally got it seated by using a large phillips head screw driver using it to give me a straight line in the spring and the handle seated it. Once I figured it out it was pretty straight forward. Now to get some of the ammo I got Friday down range.

I put a Nordic mag ext tube on my M2. Tube is now about 18" long, Nordic + factory. The spring that came with the kit is a cut to fit type. The directions say to cut approx. 10 - 16 inches longer than factory. Does anyone have an idea on what length will work well? I currently have the spring at 31".
