Looking for spare barrels (pinned?) for S&W Model 36. Prefer 3" heavy, full-lug, but have no idea where any might be found. Little help, gents...? Thanks.

maybe my toys are safe queens, but I can't imagine shooting out a barrel.. my 45's probably have 5k-7k each and they still look/group fine.

ParaDriver,

I hear you, and I'm sure the original 2.5" on my Dad's Model 36 is no where near worn out. I'd just prefer to have a 3" full-lug instead.

BTW, my Dad only straps it on when he goes looking for evidence of the semi-mythical Eastern Cougar in Upstate NY...No shots fired in self-defense to date, and don't even get me started about a .38 versus a pouncing cougar, mythical or otherwise...

Again, thanks for the info gents.
