I recently acquired a used 6' x 18" x 21" locker from craigslist, and am going to make it into a gun oven. I had planned on using the design from Ten Ring that suggests using duct board as insulation, but I can't seem to find any in the area. Does anyone have other suggestions for insulation? Thanks.

ya might wanna look nunder "wonder board"......or maybe some furnace cement ...
wonder board ..cut with carbide blade .....

used to insulate 1000 gal Phaudler reactors in the lab i worked ...

put on standard insulation ...(no backer).......wrap chicken wire around it ..trowwel in the furnace cement like stucko ,and add sheet metal for exteriorto pretty it up .... ...works well ..

Check with a heating and air conditioner installation company. If they don't have it , they can tell you where to buy it

I got mine a local heating and AC contractor. I looked for one that did office buildings and the like. The home guys didn't use that much and had none in stock. The commercial HVAC guys had it in stock.
