Just went to the local toy store not expecting to find much due to the "Obama gun run." The owner said he has been selling like crazy and the place was alot emptier then the last time I was there.

Anyway, I found a really nice model 63 and could not leave without it. I thought the $350 asking price may have been a little high, but I really have been wanting a 22 revolver and the last time I checked, I would have paid the same for a Taurus (nothing against Taurus, I have a M44 that is one of my favorite handguns to shoot).

Anyway, I just wondering how you guys think I did.

Thanks

You did very well. On S&W fan web sites, you would have had to pay over $400 for one.

Nice score flejl. I've had one for about 15 years now, lots of ammo through it. Nice match for its big brother the 629. What barrel length does yours have? Again nice score.

A-ALLOY, my understanding is these were available in a 2" and a 4" barrel, mine has a 4" barrel.

I will try to take some pictures and post them in the next couple of days.

Thanks
