I'm "restoring" a Century L1A1 back to the thumbhole stock...need to remove trigger to attempt to acheive goal of leaving pistol grip stud on lower for future restoring.

(I've managed to 'fit/slide' that lower into butthole stock with some material removal.)

...how do you pop that trigger pin out? didn't want to just start pounding...looks like hammer on 'smaller' side of pin but??

ANy help appreciated....
thanks
Eric

its simple. take the safety selector out by rotating it up past safe untill it unlocks then slide out. on the right side inside the receiver you will see a plate that has a hole where the safety went through. rotate the plate up and the the pins will slide out of the hammer and trigger

No amount of "pounding" will get it out.

You must disassemble in the correct sequence.

AH,
so simple! The genious of Mr. 'Duoddionne Suave.' First time I'd needed to remove trigger, etc. What a machine. (too bad its on a sloppy fit century rec.r)
but it runs pretty good.
Thanks again!

Then you got a good one.

Be not apologetic or ashamed.
