New to the FAL files, man am I glad I found all of you. I have two kits that I will be building. I have a Imbel parts kit on the way and I scored a DSA type1 receiver. I'm looking for a .dwg drawing of the receiver wrench so I can build one from scratch. Anyone have this available or know where I can get it. I have access to a mill that would interpolate this profile if I had the .dwg file.
Or.....if anyone is close, (South Central Michigan) I would like to borrow one. I'm still in the gathering stage and trying to figure out all the details so there is no hurry. There is a ton of stuff to absorb and I've only been lurking for a few months now. (Just long enough to buy two parts kits....HA~)
Drop me a note at my e-mail if you can help this newbie out.
Thanks,
Rudigar

I've always heard good things about the ratas wrench. If you want to make your own like you said, here's this

Scroll down to the bottom where you'll see "Free receiver wrench drawing"

He makes top notch wrenchs. Can you point me to the thread where you read this?

Hold on a sec. :)

Another reason that I never majored in communications.

Ratas makes the best. Used them on mine which is why I suggested them! If you like to build your own then there is no compromise.

Mr. Ratas barrel vise and receiver wrench for all my beauties! Here's my favorite tonight...

Well worth the investment.

dude you'll just have to make your .dwg the old fashioned way. For one piece very much not worth it. I used to make these from a template I had and everyone used to say Razielas' wrenches were just fine. If you want to compete with Ratas and water jet these or something like that then making your own .DWG not much of an effort.
