Is entreprise just out of spec, or will a .055" thick rail on a Inch charging handle fit any metric reciever?

I use an unmodified Inch rail in a DSA and had to thin one to work in an Imbel.
Out of spec ?
Maybe ?
But, which one ?
The DSA, Entreprise' or the Imbel ?

ok, so lets re phrase the question, what is the thickest rail that will go into the most finicky recvr?

Well all metrics should have same the width, the DSA must've been a Inch receiver or the rails on the receiver were modified. Also I think metric rails are .040 and inch .050 I'm not sure and I got the info from this thread.

Also this thread says just remove .010 from the inch to make it work on a metric.

Up to now I have been making all my charging handles .047 for metric and never got a complaint of too tight on that. So from .047 to to .050 is only .003 .

The DSA receiver I'm using the Inch charging handle on is a Type I Metric receiver. I was very surprised when the Inch rail slid in to place so easily with NO modifications.
The only piece modified was the cocking piece to work on the unmodified receiver.

Maybe the Inch rails vary. I didn't bother to measure it. Or, the DSA receiver's rail cuts.
