Hi All
I was looking at a Taurus 1911 today and was wondering. Will standard 1911 parts swap in to it? Grips, sights and other parts?

I am real temped to get the 1911 DT I saw. I just like the two tone layout.

Thanks

From what I have read, what I have gleaned from my very pro 1911 gunsmith and others standing around the gun counter--the parts are interchangeble--this is one of the most popular 1911's in quite some time--

I own two--love them both--they feed, function and feel great--and they look great as well

"The fundamental format is a standard full-size Model 1911 with a five-inch barrel, built exactly to the U.S. government's final official specifications set for the gun (circa 1947) and manufactured entirely by Taurus in its ultramodern Brazilian facilities. "
