That's right, kids - it's time for a new topic. One that is close to everyone's heart, and makes mom happy to have some 'alone time' in the middle of the summer vacation....

We said something in an earlier thread about June 27 and 28 (Sat/Sun) for 2009. Third year in a row for this weekend. Doesn't mess with work, and doesn't mess with the Fourth of July (important, since I'm hosting my Third Annual Fourth of July Shoot for friends, neighbors, and new-comers) . Oh, y'all might have some plans of your own, too...

You want to get ready for the best shoot yet. We've upgraded significantly every year, and this year will be no different. All FAL said that he'd get some lane-clearing/firewood harvesting done from the shooting area up to the back of the pit. This would be perfect. I'm adding additional steel targets, and donating a BP of SA .308 for a prize of some sort on a shooting contest. I expect that there will be other prizes donated as well.

Shooting:

1) Drop 8/Timed Popper Match. How long does it take you to knock down all 8 bad-guys? Known ranges on small targets.

2) Gong Match. How fast and how 'efficiently' can you ring five bad-guys twice? Unknown distances on 12" targets.

3) Drop 4 Bolt Gun: Best time on 4 silhouettes at 200 yds.

4) Sniper Match: elimination contest. Hit the silhouette at 300, advance to next round. Miss - take a seat.

5) King Match: one standing shot at the target. Winner is made Almost-Deservedly-But-Not-Quite-World-Famous with photo of target on the Files. No faces unless otherwise cleared for posting.

6) Saiga Blast-Off: all shotgun rounds on one piece of plywood (think 4' hallway) at 10 yards. For time, of course.

Divisions:

1) Iron Sights - Men's and Women's
2) Optics - Men's and Women's

AKs (all variants except for those shooting x54) go in the Mouse Gun category (holy crap, is Pluskat going to hate THAT...) for failure to penetrate 1/2" iron pipe at 200 yards. Every time. Anyway, Pluskat, you're probably going to win the MBR Irons with the Mosin... Edited to add: No MBR v. MG categories. Shoot what you want to train with. And live with the consequences...

All shooting is going to be combat/binary - either you hit or you didn't. Tie-breakers for this type of shooting don't reward a 10 versus a 9, because in combat it didn't actually matter if you shot a 9 or a 10. Tie-breakers will be by stop-watch: if you were faster with the same amount of hits, you win. Plus, it is easier and faster to keep score that way...

I suggest that some people offer up prizes that they are willing to donate. Like for example, Vagabond has a sweet park recipe that he's come up with, and if he donated 1 hour of blasting + park, he's donated something around $80 - $100...

I also suggest that people who want to shoot matches bring $10 (per shooter, not per event) to donate/help offset expenses. I'll take the money. The only accountability I offer is this: if you had a great time, you will come do it again. If you didn't think it was worth $10, you will choose to not come again, and bitch incessantly on the internet about what a jerk I am for ripping you off for $10.00 and how rich I must be getting by buying targets for other people to shoot up...Edited to add: I'm no longer suggesting the $10, I'm requiring it. Or you can shoot your own targets somewhere else.

Now, three final things which I've learned recently:

1) I'm not cooking anything for anybody. I'll be getting targets and ranges ready. In fact, I'll probably mooch anything that looks really good. Expect me to wield my new long-necked titanium spoon with Big Iron/Arizona Ranger coolness.

2) We need people to come to these events. It was cool to have some new people for this type of public shoot. Show up Saturday at 9:00 to meet people. We will start shooting at 10:00 AM. This means we actually need a sign-up that matters. We want you to say you'll come, and we want you to actually show up.

3) All FAL has graciously ferried people to and from the island at all hours in the past, but I'm not signing him up for this BS. How about this: All FAL will ferry you and your limited gear on Saturday night to the island, and back to reality on Sunday late (read: late...) morning. Bring a fiver for gas.

Can't start too early on the planning, as this would/could be our biggest/most organized/coolest shoot yet.

C'mon! Who is going to shoot against Pluskat and the Mosin?

Peace.

Edited to add: And I'm dying to sort out some kind of handgun match between Vagabond and Pluskat...

I could make a summer trip easy.
Is everyone going to the island, or just the cool people? :)

brunop
November 25, 2008, 21:08
I was posting publicly about the island because everyone is invited. I was mentioning Saturday evening for about 10 reasons, but the bottom line is that there is no way to get a shoot going at a reasonable hour on Saturday morning if we are camping on the island Friday night - even though that is what we've done in the past.

And I'm sure you are one of the cool people anyway...

Just kiddin', everyone who has an FAL is cool enough to go to the island.

I need as many details as possible.

My wife's B-day is the 29th.

Of course this is not the big 40 or anything, but it matters to me to make her feel good about being older than me.

I want to make it this year.

I need to know what to plan for i.e. primitive camping?, tent and bag?, amount of food to bring?, help around the camp?, $$$ needed for the event?, any cards being played in the evenings?, so many questions, so little time --- actually plenty of time for me to plan this go round.

Please pm me and I will supply phone number --- lets talk.

Hey Erik,

If i remember correctly it wasn't about being cool that kept you off the island, but it was not knowing the difference between public ramp and state ramp.:D

You will have more details than you actually want; I refer you to the 'nekkid olive oil campfire dancing routine' posted in a previous thread...

Seriously though, we will get you all the info you can stand. Here are the basics:

Primitive camping. Like I said before - you can borrow my shovel, but you can't borrow my toilet paper. Bring water - it'll be hot, and there isn't any you can drink without filtering and/or boiling. Tent is good, but not required - some people just sleep out under the stars. I don't remember mosquitos being a problem last year, but that was last year...

Food you need to bring: Saturday lunch at the shoot, because everyone is on their own. Saturday dinner = some group food (salmon & crawdads). If you aren't contributing to the group happiness, then you better have beer or something else good to share. Cash isn't really that great an idea, because the group food is a group effort, and it's not like you are going to hand $1 to several guys... I brought my own food last year + steaks to share. Steaks got bounced out of the cooler and ended up being trashed. Sportsnut was generous enough to force plates of crawdads on me and my kids anyway. Excellent. This year I'm bringing steaks to grill and share. We can get a menu organized once we know who is coming. Sunday breakfast - you are on your own. I'm eating instant oatmeal because it is quick and easy. I may fry up some bacon or sausage. Sunday lunch = you are on your own again, and you may already be off the island. Some of us eat at DQ in Prineville on our way out of town. This will happen again, I assure you.

Help around the camp = 'none'. Unless we decide to make some log furniture for the firepit. But that would be a 'fun' project as opposed to something that 'had' to be done.

$ for event = $10/shooter for the shoot + $5 gas for the boat

Cards. No one in the group knows how to play cards. Maybe you can teach us.

More info to follow.

Peace.

Good for U of O, the Beavs don't really deserve the Rose Bowl anyway.

C'mon Summertime!!!!

ALL FAL
December 02, 2008, 19:47
Hehehe, I don't have even a remote problem with you stepping up, I have learned a bit about organizing these kind of events, and am glad you have the desire to make each one better as I do.
I really have thought about making this an Invitational, as you can plan with a more "true" attendance in an easier fashion.

I bet folks would show up for a free guided Elk or Turkey or Huge Mule Deer hunt, but that is not how this summer get together works.
Original plan was a low dollar get together in a nice camping spot, have a safe, varied terrain for our shooting area, which we have both those , getting to know other Oregon folk of like mind. and RELAXING!!!!!

There are some we wish would attend, like Gillee, and Vagabond, but they have thier lives, and you can't shove even a good time down anyones throat, so I say screw em, Hahaha.. Geeze, the ol lady is startin to look good again...Nahh..

How about doing something like "The Best Ranger" competition
where 2 man teams are drawn and we have to do some land nav,
shooting, and a small hike.

Best time wins.

Just throwing something out there.

brunop
December 02, 2008, 22:06
Land Nav is interesting. Food for thought (which isn't to say that this can't happen...):

1. Last June 28th, it was 102* easily. I heard 104* on the radio. We had some people not show up to lay prone in the shade because of the heat

2. We could set up targets in the canyon, which would allow for hiking and shooting, but course set-up would be even more time-intensive than it is going to be now

3. We would be leaving some people out, as I can think of a couple of people's knees that aren't hiking the canyon

I'm actually up for something like this, but we might want to investigate how this could happen in a way that would work for everyone.

Thanks for the great idea - keep them coming.

Peace.

brunop
December 02, 2008, 22:08
Like for example, we could set up some land nav on the bluff/camping side, which would lead to a location that had directions for shoot/no-shoot of some targets...

Relatively level
Land nav
one shooting location
Easy to score, reset targets, etc.
Still able to be timed

Just an idea.

Peace.

Well, ya got me goin now, I may show up at the canyon with wrapped knees and a couple extra pain pills, not to mention my new titainium prescription shooting glasses (thank you V.A.)!!!!! Yeah, I want to compete with you youngsters.

No one ever said we couldn't have two age groups?? Eh?

Cool old Bro, I don't drink to speak of, so you won't even have to rush the beer cooler!!! AND we could hide the beer from the youngsters!! Lets get our youth planning done early, LOL,Hahaha:beer:

Tuscan Raider
December 03, 2008, 10:16
Your beer is safe with me. I have to drink hard liquor.

It sounds like I am lacking in the surgery department.
Is 1 even enough to enter?

How about this. A few points on the map will have to be found.
At these points will be markers that you have to collect to prove
that you were at the reference point. The final point will lead to the
shooting stage where everything will be tallied up. Time could
also be added at the shooting stage for missing targets.

Teams could leave as early as they wanted to, and teams would
have to wait until the team before them hit the firing line to leave.
Someone only needs to indicate when a team starts, and be there to
keep score after the hike/ land nav.

brunop
December 03, 2008, 10:39
This is the stuff that makes young guys say, "...fuggin' old guys...", and the old guys say, "Old age and treachery beats youth and enthusiasm all day long".

What's the age cut-off - 40? Cool - I'm in with you all. We could put it somewhere around 45 or so - that would put Marlin in with the old guys, and me with the youngsters. I can hear it now...

Seriously - we could put everyone in the same group, and have the land-nav requirements, but NOT use 'elapsed time' as a scoring method. That way you could walk or crawl it and still get the same score. The 'problem' with this is that I will carry a Remington 700P with Badger bottom-metal and a 6-24x IOR scope and get an 'unbeatable' score (all center hits) - and if I make a land-nav mistake it won't matter because there is no 'time'. So...

I was thinking that we could do land-nav to a few (2 to 4) shooting 'stations'. NO TIME LIMIT on the land-nav, but once you got there, you would have to engage multiple targets - and this would be timed. Hits + time to get them = score. Land-nav is just a bonus to get to the shot.

Just one idea. Full of problems like:

Who's timing?
Who's scoring?
Who's setting up land-nav?
Who's re-setting targets that are 100 to 400 yards away in several locations?

Anyway, this would be a ton of fun, and if we had four-wheelers to do the job, we could get it done in short order.

Just thinking out loud.

I call BS - not that Vagabond helped get you in the right spot, but that you are 'toast'. I know you are sneaking around getting ready for the big summer shoot.

Aren't you excited that you get to shoot both the Mosin AND the Russian Mouse-Gun (man, I love saying that!)? You could win both categories. Depending on what you and Sportnut work out, you might win the Women's categories, too... not that there's anything wrong with that...

Seriously, now, I think it would be a good idea to get together with those Eugene boys right away and do some room-clearing stuff at ARPC, as well as some prone 200 yard stuff with the rifles. We don't want to go over the hill at the end of June and lose in the big contest.

I'm not exactly pressed for time at this point since the shoot is six and a half months away, but I was wondering if we should coordinate what and where the 'shooting lanes' should be cleared up. I'm willing to cut wood and work hard, but I'd rather do it in the spring than in 100* heat at the end of June.

I don't own a four-wheeler, but I could borrow one. I'm positive that I don't want to ride the shank's mare 400 yards down the range to reset/score targets in the summer heat after each shooter. Anyone coming to the shoot own one that they are willing to bring?

Finally, I don't have any particular expertise in setting up a land-nav section for the shoot. Again, I don't want to time the land-nav, but I do want to make the shoot 'positions' in such a fashion that (for this portion only) people have to find their 'clues'.

Anybody have suggestions?

T-minus 194 days....

Peace.

Hi Brunop, the land nav will be easy, I'll show ya when ya get here. 17*F here now, weatherman says about 0*F tonight. Winter is finally here on the high desert. Had snow flurries since last night, and all of today..

Car thermometer says 26*, and there must be four inches of snow up on this hill. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to work tomorrow, since there is more coming as we speak.

I'm sure we can set up the nav section, but I want to have shooters 'nav' to several spots, wherein they have to make a range and a shot. I then want to (and this is important) drive my motorized vehicle to score and re-set the targets. I envision this happening to the north, down into the canyon you were talking about.

At a different location (where we shot last time), I want several lanes so we can shoot out to 300 or 400 up against the back of the quarry/hill. I don't want you to do it by yourself, or at all if you don't want to. I just remember you saying that you were going to kill two birds with one stone: get the firewood for your permit, and make some longer 'lanes' up the hill.

I'm surely looking forward to it.

Peace.

I would be willing to do a work/camp/plinking party in the spring
to get things ready for the summer shoot.

I am good for 12 man hours in 8 to have fun.

I can run a saw.
I like to camp.
I like to shoot.

I get away from the kid and wife.

I am in - this is just the thing we were talking about the other day. I'm thinking one night would be perfect. First or second weekend of January? Or we could do the 'official' BOB Weekend of Jan 25 to test some gear in cold weather.

I, for one, am going with the suggestion of a couple of the Zombie Hunter survival squad guys: normal BOB + "Winter Module". There is (wait for it...) NO WAY I'm going in 17* weather with a 28 lb. pack. Time to take a page from the SAS - pack in 80 lbs. or so, and then ditch most of it for the 'patrols'.

But I'd like to test my theories...

Peace.

December 15, 2008, 22:51
If we can get a few "confirmed" for an upcoming weekend, like in January, I'd like to see if I can handle it with just the stuff on my back (the pack, not the hair) and have the tent in the Jeep just in case I wimp out.

Not wanting to go so much for the shooting this time, but just to see if I can "hack it" without more whining than what I regularly do. I'm thinking the Mosin and about 100rds along with the 10/22 and a brick.

Lots of hot chocolate mix (they use that in the SAS, just not the kind with the little marshmallows) and the required Mtn. House and I should be good.

Any other "men" interested in facing the cold?

I'm in for some cold. I'll take the stuff on my back, but it is going to weigh more than it did after a certain someone had the 'backpack shakedown' event...

I smell 'winter module' - like sleeping bag+overbag. I'll definitely shoot, but it doesn't have to be a big deal. I am curious to shoot the FAL in the cold, as it didn't do very well in the US Arsenal testing in the 'Arctic' conditions.

Where you wanna go? The east side would be cold. The west side would be wet. Somewhere up on the east slope of the valley/west slope of the Cascades would be both  . We could do the 25 January date, which is the Nat'l BOB date.

Hi Rich, you could camp at the park, but the Island is way more fun and you don't have diesel rigs buzzing and grinding around all night long. I have no problem hauling folks over to the park for showers in thier facilities.

If you want to camp in the park, I would call the parks and get reservations for those days, I'll look and post the # for them and the county boat ramp will be well marked for the shoot, really you can't miss the turn if you look to the right as the road dips down and gets curvey near the lake.

Hope you folks can make it this year.

Hey Rich,

I second All FAL's invitation - I hope you make it this year.

The dates are set: Saturday June 27th for the shoot, and camping on the island that night. Some people fish, set crawdad traps, hike the island, etc. If I remember correctly, we don't get off the island all that early on Sunday.

It will be the best shoot yet! Starts at 10:00 AM. Lots of activities, and some prizes. Several categories, as we will be doing an actual 'shoot' like is done at other FAL gatherings: Mouse Gun (to include AKs), RR (real rifle... .308 and above), Optics, and Irons are the four categories we've come up with. Men's and Women's awards. There will be four or five contests: Drop 8, Steel Scoring, Long Range, Turkey Shoot, and King Shot.

Should be tons of fun.

Peace.

All FAL -

Hope everything works itself out soon.

No ammo factory yet - just waiting to see how much money there is to 'play' with. Still have a lot of interest, but the markets have dried up some of the initial funds that were available. Basically I'm trying to find out if there is $5M or if there is $50M from this group of people.

I haven't purchased ammo in a while - I'm hoping that the post-Christmas bust is going to slow down some of the purchasing, and leave some product on the shelves for little ol' me. We'll see about that.

Talk to you soon. Take care of yourself, and

I was expecting this response much, MUCH earlier when I wrote it over a month ago (post #1 Nov 24 2008  ). Guess you weren't paying attention?

Bottom line is that your Russian Mouse Gun didn't pierce the backside of the (super soft) 1/2" black pipe (multiple times) at 200 yards (or less  ). I bet $100 that the AR would do it. I know for a fact that the Mosin does it (every time), and so does the FAL. Self-regulated situation, friend.

As I said earlier - you can take solace in the fact that you will win at least one MBR (that stands for Man's Battle Rifle) contest shooting the Mosin. Then you can go over and win a Mouse Gun title, too (if you want to).

This is so fun (and funny), that I am really getting overly psyched at this early date to set up the big summer shoot. I can't wait.

Peace.

No one is bullying anyone for their choice of guns (not even Pluskat...). You just have to know that 5.45x39 is playing in MGL (Mouse Gun Land), not in BBL (Big Boy Land). I'm shooting an MG as well as an MBR, so I can play in all contests available. Bring what you want. Shoot what you bring.

Well, it's decided then...

AKs and SKSs in the Mouse Gun Group; Mosins, FALs, and other worthy smokewagons in the MBR Category (Man's Battle Rifle).

I think you should show up with both and win it all, Pluskat. Then you can say, "Nyah-nyah-nyah" to me.

I'm planning on bringing ONLY the Mosin and a .22....and a shotgun. (I already know how the rest shoot and the ammo's too pricey at this stage in the game to just run it downrange.) Are we gonna have "Iron Sights/Optics" be factors in which guns shoot against which guns? The heatwaves coming off the ground played hell with me and the iron sights last time out.

brunop
January 06, 2009, 11:21
We are definitely putting 'Optics' and 'Irons' into two different categories. I don't remember anything playing hell with you - I just remember the 285 yard standing hits on the 1/3 size cowboy. I'm going to try and beat you, but I'm not counting on it. I just haven't decided if I'm going with the Garand or with the Enfield for the Irons Challenge.

Gotta work instead of thinking about the Summer Shoot...

My brother Karl and I will be there this year for sure. Karl and I will be bringing up a bunch of FAL's and to save a little money the AK74's will be brought out too. We'll just have to wing the Saiga 12 competition. Talk about a lot-o-fun!
Anyone bringing any .50 BMG stuff?

I just haven't decided if I'm going with the Garand or with the Enfield for the Irons Challenge.

Um...would that be the Garand your Old Man acquired a year or three ago? If so I'm calling "no fair". That's a NEW bore. I demand that anyone shooting against my Mosin do so with the same "orange peel"..."surface of the moon" bore condition my old rifle's got.

The test will be as follows....

The rifle's action will be open, muzzle angled down, and 10 pellets of #7 birdshot will be fed into the breech. If more than 3 pellets emerge at the other end, that rifle will be considered too new and will need to move into another class.

I love the test - all depends on the angle I suppose.

No, not his Garand. But I will admit that mine (new to me last year) has a Danish VAR barrel on it. Bought it off a really nice guy here on the Files. I guess I'll have to shoot the Enfield, huh? Or one of the not-so-new FALs.

I'm trying to figure out how to shoot all the events with more than one rifle, but I can't see that being a good use of everyone's time unless there are multiple people who want to shoot more than once. Depending on what you and Sportsnut work out, one of the two of you might shoot once in the Men's Division, and once in the Women's? :? Maybe that's where you shoot the AK...

Been working over the already smooth Tokarev trigger, last time we shot it gave us fits, it won't this time and the sear surfaces will be case hardened and polished.
The FAL para will have an adjustable trigger (made by me) that I think you guys will find very respectable.

The PLR 16 pistol will have some tacticool enhancements too.

Looking forward to this next shoot very much. Like the Llama.45 that I picked up for $200, it is like new but needs the trigger worked too, maybe can get to that one also.

DB, you can TRY to talk the homo talk, but you're just a poser. You have no style, no finesse', no romance to your baseless lies. You're crude and unpolished. Go back to your beer-swilling redneck construction workers.

Sportsnut, on the other hand....now there's a romantic who knows how to treat a lady.

You better watch it or the Mods'll send this entire thread to Dumping Brass.

You still don't understand where the "line" is with this kind of talk. Sportsnut and I have been at it for a while now. You have to get close without "crossing over". I'd suggest you just read for a while until you "get it".

Geezz, brunop, how many subjects do you want to talk about?
One that comes to mind is .22 rimfire long range shooting, thats over 100yds.
The price of ammo, sure makes those dandy AR .22 kits fun and one heck of a backup should you run out of .223.

I'm checking into the plr.22 parts to see if I can do some swapping to rimfire.

OR, who in our group has bought the most guns in the last 6 months?? You did Brunop.:D

While I would like to claim the title for most guns in the last 6 months, I'm quite sure that that award goes to someone other than me.

For the record, I have purchased 0 handguns in the last 6 months, and I have sold more than one.

I have purchased a couple (two) surplus rifles (Yugo M24, Garand) in the last six months.

All FAL - sounds like you're in the running for the award. I fear I'm going to be winning the award for most guns sold in the next six months. I'm getting out of them so I can keep the horde at my house fed. For the record.

I'll buy some of your ammo, unless ya sold it already.

I hear ya. Just the other day i had to reposess a SKS from a buyer who couldn't make his payments. I felt sorry for him as he didn't even have a place to store his remaing weapons, so he had them laying around where his reposessed furniture used to be.

He tried to get me to take his prized Ruger P-95 that someone told him was a "Gold Cup" series, but i didn't have the heart to tell him that Colt has the Gold Cup Series. I'm sure he paid a fortune for that pistol. The original owner who sold it to him should be ashamed for taking advantage of this person.

I think I'm leaving the 'files because I'm out of FALs. That, and I think there is a Saiga forum somewhere. Because Russian-made, layin' down some mag-fed semi-auto double-ought buck, fire, and brimstone HELL is the go-to weapon from 0 yards to, oh, about 300 yards. Or 500. Or so.

And I just bought one, I think.

If I sold all my guns, and bought only one, I'm about -34 or so on the Cosmic Rotation of Firepower. Which means that I'm WAY behind All FAL and some other people here.

It was a great ride, but it's over. See you guys when the Zombies come.

Peace (out).

Edited to add:

I'm waiting to hear what you find out on that one, VanillaG. Kinda has that cool gangster ring to it, doesn't it? - like the O.G., only white (as in, you know, Vanilla...).

Anywho, I'm boycotting that other wannabe thread about getting "back on track". No offense, Erik, but I - and a lot of other people here - have a LOT invested in this thread (like 247 posts, man  !). Anyway, over on

POST FRICKIN' NUMBER THREE

there is a list of people who are coming, who are 'probables', and who are panty-waists (if you work for the Guard, and have drill, you do not fit the above characterization, but if you don't, and have to go gator-fishing for 1.5 days, you do...).

I'm all in - just bought another bunch of steel targets so that we have 8 drop-silhouettes and a couple of 'stand' silhouettes (cowboy, etc.).

I'm decidedly 'out' on the land-nav portion of the shoot. We can't get all the stuff done we want to do anyway. Land-nav is slow, one shooter at a time, and while sounding cool, will be a major drag if (when) it is hot. We couldn't get three shooters last summer, and that was prone and/or sitting in the shade drinking ice-cold sodas. Of course it was 103* ...

As it stands, we are going to have a (semi) standard military rifle shoot. There will be men's and women's fields, so the sun-dress-wearing homos here can keep their panties from wadding up, and there will be four 'classes' inside of each field: MBR (Man's Battle Rifle) Iron and Optics, and MG (Mouse Gun) Iron and Optics.

x54, x51, 8mm, and 7.5 Swiss make it into the MBR category. x45 (nato) and x39 (ruskie) fall into the MG category. This allows a guy to actually shoot two rifles if he feels like it. I'll add now that if a person shows up with an FAL in 5.56x45, he is gonna get to slide up into MBR territory if he so chooses. Because I feel like it. But I don't know anyone who has one.

Below is a re-post of POST NUMBER FRICKIN' ONE ( ), which has the activities. Minus the Land Nav. And maybe the shoot-house. Happily, you've suggested an excellent new event to take its place...

There will be three shoots besides the Saiga (or any shotgun) Blast-Off (which you will win, but not without a valiant effort on my part). They are:

Knock-down 8 - how fast to knock down all 8 silhouettes

Steel Plate Challenge - range and hit the 12" plates - twice

King Shot - one standing off-hand shot on the target. Closest to the center is the KING

I'd love to see 10 or 15 new guys (new to us, not to shooting) show up and have some fun.

Peace.
