View Full Version : Holder Nomination Signals Obama's True Anti-Gun Rights Agenda

The nomination of Eric Holder for the post of attorney general of the United States sends an "alarming signal" to gun owners about how the Barack Obama administration will view individual gun rights, as affirmed this year by the Supreme Court, the Second Amendment Foundation said today.
"Eric Holder signed an amicus brief in the Heller case that supported the District of Columbia's handgun ban, and also argued that the Second Amendment does not protect an individual right," noted SAF founder Alan Gottlieb. "He has supported national handgun licensing and mandatory trigger locks. As deputy attorney general under Janet Reno, he lobbied Congress to pass legislation that would have curtailed legitimate gun shows.
"This is not the record of a man who will come to office as the nation's top law enforcement officer with the rights and concerns of gun owners in mind," he observed.

Fugk him.
When the people decide to enlighten their government, and government understand finally that they serve at the pleasure of the people, will the nation begin to right itself.

With the conservative population of this country declining and the willy nilly importation of turd worlders and their political cultures, the possibility of any correction is disappearing along with all us evil crackers. in another 8 years there will be no possibility of electing a conservative into power , even an ethnic one let alone another honkey republican. Ted Kennedy and his cohorts made sure that this country will go socialist and stay that way some 45 years ago. Demographics rule, and the rapidly diminishing rugged individualist white males are going the way of the european wolf, largely extinct except in cages.

So is there a legal way to partition a part of the existing land mass of the US for the segment of the population that wants to preserve the constitution? Let the remainder be the "New Amerika", with their new constitution (if they even want one), and we'll handle our own internal affairs and border security. Could a coalition of existing state governments do something like this?

Article 4, Sec. 3
New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.
I don't believe the Constitution forbids the secession of different states. That said, those who honor the Constitution have the Law on their side. It is the statists and their cronies who seek to circumvent the Law.

While it certainly seems this way while the pendulum has swung so far left there is hope. I cite my own personal example here: My 20 year old daughter who I had considered to be fairly liberal and is a Democrat called me on the night of the election ranting about how she hated Obama, couldn't stand him, and how concerned she was for our country.
I hadn't spoken to her concerning this years election as I feared that I would hear heaps of praise for Obama coming from my daughter.
She is saying now that while she doesn't agree with some conservative principles, she is finding herself much more conservative than she previously thought and is thinking of changing her party affiliation.
This was still a fairly close election vote wise. All is not lost and I firmly believe that in 49 months Obama will have lost his luster to the American people and the rest of the world.

While I agree that with some of the population with better critical thinking skills this will indeed happen, the likelihood of the more ignorant of our population and the socialist minority voting having an epiphany and coming to the light side of the force is next to nil. And as long as we are importing socialist voters by the millions this will not get better. About 68% of Hispanics voted for Obby , foreign born latinos 78%, asians went for obama at a margin of 2 to 1 and of course 96% of blacks voted for him . Especially if you consider all the pandering that Bush and McCain have done with the hispanic/foreign born latino population over the years and what Rove recommends the party continue to do, there was absolutely no reward for their efforts. The repubs lost ground with the hispanic and asian votes.... The two most rapidly growing demographics within our nation. Racial Voting blocs will rule.
Some mexican paper headlines; El Universal, Mexico's paper of record, ran articles entitled Emerge Coalición de Minorías en EU [Coalition of Minorities Emerges in the U.S.] and Cambio Demográfico Impulsó a Obama, [Demographic Change Propelled Obama] both by Wilbert TorreEnviado, November 6, 2008.
From Allan Wall of VDARE;
The Mexican government, ever attentive, is gearing up for a new round of meddling. On November 7th, Foreign minister Patricia Espinosa announced that, upon Obama's assumption of the presidency, "Mexico will again take up the agenda that includes the migratory accord as a priority". As reported by El Universal: "In a press conference, she said that President Felipe Calderon is confident that with the arrival of Obama to the presidency of the United States, a migratory accord that permits both nations a legal, safe and orderly migratory flow, will finally be achieved. She also said that ' the government of Mexico hopes that the president-elect of the United States will change his position on the construction of the border wall'." "According to the Foreign Minister, 'the government of Felipe Calderon will continue proposing in a respectful but firm manner, that the border wall is not compatible with the relation of friendship and the character of partnership that exists between Mexico and the United States '." When I hear flowery talk like this coming from Mexicans I cant help but think of the swarms of 19th-early 20th century mexican bandits crossing the border on horseback with the large sombreros, bandoleers of ammo strapped across their chests as they raid far into the U.S. Southwest stealing, raping, pillaging and plundering at will--behaviour hasnt changed a whole lot, has it?

Holder is the only one I see with the potential to get shot down because of his affirming of the pardon of Marc Rich. A lot of people were pissed over that across party lines.
