First remove magazine and ensure unloaded.

Squeeze the cocking lever slightly, then press the firing pin bushing at the rear of the slide in, rotate it clockwise 90 degrees then press the cocking lever fully and withdraw the firing pin assembly.

Press button on left side above rear of grip , lift rear of slide up, and move forward off of barrel. You're done.

When reassembling, align gas piston with chamber, while holding rear of slide elevated. Compressing recoil spring as you move slide rearward, you may have to jiggle a bit to get the barrel to enter the hole in the slide. Once there, press the button and push it down into place.

Replace the firing pin assembly with the slots oriented vertically , engaging the firing pin sear in its sliot at three o'clock. Press home and rotate 90 degrees counter clockwise until it locks.
