What a day!

Tom Lambert, with the Virginia State Police, has just sent me a copy
of a new reciprocity agreement between Virginia and Mississippi!

The agreement will be posted on the VCDL web site shortly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The agreement is BRAND NEW and is not on either the
Virginia State Police web site nor on Mississippi's site yet. I
SUGGEST **NOT** CARRYING IN MISSISSIPPI UNTIL VIRGINIA IS LISTED ON
MISSISSIPPI'S WEB SITE AS A RECIPROCAL STATE.

I just spoke with Virginia State Parks and they are evaluating the AG
opinion on open carry. FOR NOW, DO **NOT** OPEN CARRY IN VIRGINIA
STATE PARKS.

This is good news, I from MS now stationed in VA. My MS CC permit has been useless until now.

The things you have to go through to buy an assualt rifle with an out of state license is crazy. You'd think my military ID and orders would work, not in VA. Every other state I've been in, no problem.

Hopefully this will change the nonsense.

It's been a good week for me, VA/SC has reciprocity again, SC recently posted reciprocity with FL and WV, and I just got my NH pistol permit which added GA, AL, MS, PA, and ND. Now if WI will just get it's head out of its arse, life will be good! But then, pigs will fly before that happens.. :rolleyes:
