Any recommendations on mounting a scope to an Imbel FAL?

I like the idea and looks of the dust cover replacements...
Pro/Cons, good place to get a deal on one...
Found this one here (http://www.dsarms.com/prodinfo.asp?number=620A) Seems like a good deal/price.

Any info/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Just about all FAL scope mounts are top cover replacements.

DSA's mount is very highly regarded. Like all top-cover mounts that have screw-tight rails, they mark up your upper receiver slightly.

ARMS makes an excellent mount that doesn't have the rails.

If you can find one, the Williams mount is also excellent, but the maker was a weasel and is out of business. His mount was excellent, however and can sometimes be found on the secondary market.

Don't have one of these, but several Falers have reported good results with the mount from Gunpartsguy. Good repeatability and no marking the receiver.

I like the one by A.R.M.S. No set screws to work themselves loose, no marking up the receiver. It fights tight, and IMO, holds zero better than any other.
