I finally got around to taking out the CZ550/Target 308-W/ Baush & Lomb 6-24 this weekend, very pleased.
The single set trigger is a nice touch, although it did give me a few FTF. More than likely the cause was my finger placement. The ergonomics are a little off on the laminated stock, but workable. I have big hands; smaller hands don't have a chance. The balance of the rifle is excellent.
I fired 60 rds on Sat., LC surplus, Winchester 150SP and Win.168 Ballistic Silver Tip Supreme.
All gave prformed about the same , Robinhoods all day:biggrin:
Recoil was min., but at rd 56 the stock was a little loose on my shoulder and a I touch the set tigger which ended my day at the range.
The pic on the left is 3 rds, the right 10 rds

CZ Target? Same as Varmint?

Anyhow, I am fond of Cz's. Was about to order one up when the FN PBR deal came up, so got it got sidetracked.

That's nice shooting, specially that 10 rd group, no stringing. Do you reload? That rifle is craving "Match bullets an Varget". :D

Interesting about the stocks ergonomics, my short an fat paws probly wouldn't work well with that.

Been wondering if I could fit CZ's set trigger onto my 30-06 Mauser?

Thanks
I just started reloading, but haven't reloaded for this one yet. Really looking forward to taking it out to 300yd range, once a work up some loads for it.
With my hand probperly seated on the palm swell, my finger just makes trigger. It doesn't quite get to the front of the trigger, alittle on the side. I think that is what caused the FTF
