Hello - does anyone currently manufacture FAL Metric Mags? I know there are a ton of military surplus, never used mags, but just wondering if there are any quality mags still in production... Thanks! I can't wait to get my DSA SA58 Carbine!

Never ran into any poor quality surplus mags.

I stick with the real thing, there's no reason not to when you can still get um for $7 or $8.

There are 2 perfectly good reasons to get NIW MilSurp mags.
1. They are excellent.
2. They're all "Pre Ban":uhoh:
3. they're so cheap there's no reason not to...oops that was someone else's post.

Bushmaster has some new ones for $20. I believe they are Israeli and where from when they sold their .308 which used FAL mags. They still had them last time I checked.

So where is the best place for quality used mags? DSA website has them for $10 each if you buy 5 or more.

Marketplace, right on this forum.
There have been several ads for mags in just the last few days.

Gun Things has new Izzy mags for $12.50. I received two today and they were absolutely beautiful ! They were covered in a light coating of grease , with no blemishes whatsoever. I won't know how reliable they are until I can make it out to the range, but they both had strong springs and function checked fine in my rifle.

I wish I had known about them prior to purchasing a bunch of the "excellent" steyr mags from DSA.

There are three cases ( 10 mags in a case) of new (1963 stock) never opened in the box on Sturm right now. I think he's asking $250 a case.
