Buying a very nice Indian Enfield 2A, picking it up Thursday.
I have a set-screw type scope mount for it, and I am wondering how many have scoped a 2A and what kind of accuracy you are getting from it.

I can't hunt with my semi autos, and I could not pass up on that nice '65 Enfield for $175.

Any scope experience?

I have a Quest II carbine (cut down Gibbs Rifle Company 2A) that has a scope mount. I'm thinking of putting a red dot on it since it's going to be a truck gun.

I have an S & K scope mount on an Ishapore 7.62 and on a Gibbs in 45/70. They're all steel and hold up very well. After the first 50 rounds or so you'll want to retighten the rear screw & nut that holds things together. They're very solid, look at home on the rifle. You do have to take out a bit of wood inside the stock, but it's not visible from the outside.

I've used an old 4X steel Weaver on each.
