.45 auto rim?

IIRC, doesn't this cartridge fit in a revolver chambered for 45ACP; thus eliminating the need for the moon clips?

i picked up a box by mistake a while back, and my dad just happens to have a S&W model of 1988 chambered in 45 ACP, so i gave em to him

you are correct sir! .45 autorim is interchangeable with .45 Acp (in revolvers only) without need for half or full moon clips.
