i like the green one better
it has all of the same mods, but they are just done in a more practicle/real life practical way.

It looks like a Volquartsen "Stabilization Module".

Is there any reason you didn't get the SS one, seg? BTW, nice looking 10/22s.

Yep that's it-Volquartsen "Stabilization Module. When its placed on the barrel it over laps the flutes in the barrel. I couldn't have that:rolleyes: the aluminum one was easier to mill out to match the barrel flutes.
After I got done polishing the barrel ( 2 days)I thought about painting the flutes to match, but that might be going over board.:rofl:

Yes I am single and yes I have to much free time.
