Sears .308

Someone brought a box of Sears Roebuck and Co. .308 out to the range to get rid of it and left it with me. It's FC headstamp. The box looks straight out of the 50's or 60's.

Any idea when Sears stopped marketing ammo?

In the mid to late 70s. I have 20 boxes of 30-06 left. I bought all I could one time on an overstock sale. I could not reload the brass I had for what I gave for the Sears ammo. It is Federal standard ammo in a Sears box.

Some of it was Winchester. I got a bunch of "SEARS" headstamped brass in a lot of Winchester test fired brass I got.
