Hi I just bought a Springfield Armory SAR 48 para machine gun.
The gun has only been shot about 30 times by the previous owner. The gun had military green tape around the ejection port to protect the DSA topcover from contact with the ejected cases. I have since removed the tape. He said that there is a way to modify the ejector and that he has not had the time to tinker with it so that the cases would not bounce off the gun. Anybody have any info on how to do the modification or any other ideas? I would love to shoot the gun but I dont want to shoot it, till I can get it to eject properly.
